Weather has forced yet another postponement in the Miami First National Bank Invitational middle school baseball tournament.
Additional rain Thursday has led tournament officials to wait until Wednesday to try to finish things up.
The tournament originally was to run Monday through Wednesday, but play didn't start until Wednesday.
Will Rogers Middle School topped Ketchum 5-4 with the winning run coming with two out in the bottom of the fifth inning.
In other first round games, it was Grove 3, Locust Grove 1; Pryor 5, Verdigris 4, and Adair 9, Jay 3.
When play resumes, there will be two semifinal and two losers' bracket games: Adair vs. Pryor, 11 a.m. Jay vs. Verdigris, 1 p.m.; Miami vs. Grove, 3 p.m., and Ketchum vs. Locust Grove, 5 p.m.
In deference to the weather, Northeastern A&M moved its Bi-State Athletic Conference double-header with Eastern to Wilburton. Then when the teams play again Saturday, the action will be at Homa Thomas Field.
Only three of Thursday's four games in the Oklahoma Union Invitational were played, with the start of the first game pushed back to 3 p.m.
Officials hoped rain would hold off long enough to get the final two rounds completed
