CATOOSA - Miami topped Pryor 47-39 but lost to Catoosa and Grove during a high school wrestling quadrangular here Thursday night.
The Wardogs suffered a 59-11 loss to No. 1 Catoosa and fell 44-27 to Grove.
In other matches, it was Catoosa 50, Grove 15; Pryor 33, Grove 29, and Pryor 59, Catoosa 6.
Jon Smith, wrestling at both 125 and 130, won all three of his matches by fall for the Wardogs.
At 125, he pinned Catoosa's Haugen in only 57 seconds and stuck Pearsall of Pryor in 90 seconds. Moving up to 130, he pinned Grove's Whitehill in 3:40.
The Wardogs had seven pins in their victory against Pryor.
In addition to Smith's, Miami also got pins from Miles Anderson at 112, Blaine Fields at 135, Jed Gibson at 145, Matt McClain at 150, Justin Herd at 189 and Jacob Sharbutt at 215.
Fields had one of the school's fastest pins ever when he polished off Honob in only 28 seconds.
Gibson pinned McKee in 56 second and Anderson took only 78 seconds to best Poole.
Tim Hall also picked up a win by forfeit at 103 for MHS.
In the loss to Catoosa, Miami's only other points came on a 15-0 technical fall by 119-pounder Colby Anderson against Rosales.
Against Grove, the Dogs' points came on a forfeit by Hall, Smith's pin against Whitehill, a pin by 152-pounder Trevor Shamblin at the 1:00 mark over Dusty Gehrke and 171-pounder Kevin Helton's pin at 1:28 against Darrius Hopper.
Weather permitting, Miami hosts Inola and Seneca, Mo., on Tuesday night.
