Allan Green ends a lengthy layoff July 13 when he faces Darrell Woods in a middleweight fight in Tulsa that will be part of ESPN2's "Friday Night Fights" series.

The fight will be at the Million Dollar Elm Casino in Tulsa.

Woods, 39, (26-10-0) is the North American Boxing Federation's No. 4 contender. He's 17th in the North American middleweight rankings.

He's won four straight fights, including a split decision over Emmett Linton to take the vacant UBA light middleweight title on June 4, 2005.

He also took home the vacant IBA Americas Super Middleweight crown.

Woods held the NABU Light Middleweight title in 1996.

Green (23-1 with 16 knockouts) has been idle since a loss to Edison Miranda March 3 in Puerto Rico.

He was to have fought at the Buffalo Run Casino on May but was forced to pull out due to a colon ailment that had plagued him since before the Miranda fight.

The bout is scheduled for 10 rounds and is promoted by Holden Productions. Six fights are on the card, which begins at 7:30 p.m.
