BLUEJACKET — Putting together some mind-boggling numbers, Bluejacket rolled to a 60-20 win against Chetopa, Kansas, here Thursday, Sept. 10.

According to statistics provided by the BHS coaching staff, the Chieftains rolled up 808 yards in total offense: 415 via the run and 393 passing.

Bluejacket led 18-6 after the first quarter then rolled into the half ahead 32-6 at intermission.

The Chieftains scored twice in the third and led by 36 then held a 12-6 edge in the fourth.

Kadan Tipton headed up the offensive onslaught, completing 11 of 24 passes for 342 yards and two touchdowns. He also had 182 yards on 26 rushing attempts.

Keegan Francis added 71 yards, followed by Brennan Lee with 71, Landon Ross with 60, Hagan Beisly with 24 and Gabe Arrevillagas contributed 8 yards.

Arrevillagas completed his only pass attempt for 51 yards and a touchdown. He also caught eight passes for 214 yards.

Francis picked up 173 yards on 12 receptions.

Defensively, Arrevillagas had one assisted and nine solo tackles.

Tipton had eight solos and one assist, Ross five and four, Kolten Hicks and McVay six and two and Beisly finished with four and three.

Bluejacket had four interceptions and three fumble recoveries.

The Chieftains travel to Claremore Christian Friday, Sept. 18.
