MIAMI — Miami battles South Grand Lake for the Green Country Youth Football sixth grade Super Bowl championship Saturday, Oct. 19 at Red Robertson Field.

Kickoff is at 10 p.m.

The Wardogs rolled to a 46-0 win over Fort Gibson and South Delaware County advanced with a 19-8 decision against Vinita.

Miami blanked Locust Grove 38-0 in a first-round game.

The Dogs went 5-0 in the regular season, blanking three of their opponents.

They beat Jay, 50-0; Vinita, 22-6; Grove, 43-0; Locust Grove 44-0, and Tahlequah 28-6.

Their Week 2 game against Adair was cancelled.

As fifth graders, the Wardogs suffered a 20-14 loss to Vinita in the championship game.

The Miami fourth graders were eliminated with a 14-6 loss to Fort Gibson.

They moved to the semis by beating Tahlequah 14-8.

In other championship games, it will be Grove vs. Westville, fifth grade; Adair vs. Westville, third; South Delaware County vs. Jay, second, and South Delaware County vs. Westville, first.

Start times for the other Super Bowl games include 11:30 a.m., fifth grade; 1 p.m., fourth; 2:30 p.m., first; 4 p.m., fourth, and 5:30 p.m., third.
