PRYOR — Miami’s girls took first in a pair of relays during a track meet at Pryor Friday, April 13.

Makiya Reid, Emie Haile, Qimeng Li and Rebecca Bell took first in the 4x100-meter relay with a time of 52.55 seconds.

Reid, Maddison Smith, Leah Evans and Bell teamed to win the 4x400 relay at 4:19.39.

Smith, Evans, Isabella Burrell and JoLea Johnson were third in the 4x800 relay with a time of 11:45.04.

Bell also won the 100 and 200 at 12.91 and 27.16 seconds, respectively.

Armstrong placed second in the 400 at 1:05.03, Smith third in the 800 at 2:44.29 and Reid fourth in the 200 at 28.69.

Lily Jackson wound up sixth in the discus at 81-4 and shot at 28-5.

Alyssa Johnson placed sixth in the shot at 28-0.5.

Gavin Payton, Damien Burris, Lakota Nichols and Josh Reynolds were third in the boys’ 4x100 relay.

Miami also was fifth in the 4x200 relay.

Micheal Heyburn placed sixth in the boys’ 300 hurdles.

Nichols finished sixth in the 200 at 25.61.

Their time was 46.99 seconds.

The Lady Wardogs were fourth with 94 points. Adair finished first with 122.

The Wardogs were seventh overall with 18 points.


Miami travels to Vinita for a meet Tuesday, April 17.
