KETCHUM – Wyandotte completed its march through the Ketchum slow-pitch softball tournament with a 14-0 victory over Salina here Friday, March 16.

The Lady Bears outscored their five opponents 83-17.

The Lady Bears rolled through Pool B by beating Afton, 16-4; Oaks 18-9; Copan, 23-5, and Colcord, 10-1.

Wyandotte, now 7-0 on the season, collected 79 hits and hit 18 homers in its five games.

Wyandotte needed only 2½ innings to dispatch Salina on only three hits.

The Lady Bears scored five times in the opening frame then came back with eight more in the second.

Wyandotte’s offensive barrage included two home runs by leadoff hitter Haley Hart, a homer and two singles from Aranda Nair, a homer and single from Grace Parmley and Makenzie Powell, two singles from Allie Bartley and a hit each from Elizabeth Mensink, Kylie Severs and Maddie Branham.

The Lady Wildcats had only six baserunners in the game.


Wyandotte is idle until March 23, when it faces Warner at 12:30 p.m. and Preston at 4:15 in the Preston Festival.
