Jean Louise Freed of Southwest City, Mo., died Friday, Aug. 10, 2007, at her home. She was 83.
Mrs. Freed was born Aug. 24, 1924, to Leo and Loretta (Linehan) Frederick.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Clayton and her husband Lester of Southwest City and Barbara Dupres of Texas; two sons, Robin Freed and his wife Denise of Auburn, N.Y., and H. Dale Freed of Averill Park, N.Y.; one brother and his wife, Robert and Helen Frederick of Pennsylvania; eight grandchildren, Matthew Freed, Jason Freed and Jonathan Freed, all of New York, Melody Southerland of Southwest City, Mark Roser of Sand Springs and Nicole Pethybridge of Noel, Mo., and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, H. Ernest Freed; her parents; one sister, Dorothy Morris; one brother, Richard Frederick, and one grandson, Corey L. Goad.
Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Turner Funeral Chapel in Grove with Dr. Lee Hilliard officiating.
