Juanita Sue Merriman of Miami died Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2007, at her home. She was 65.

Merriman was born Nov. 12, 1941, in Huntsville, Ark., to Wymer and Maxine (Rudd) Denny. She lived in the Miami area most of her life. She attended Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College in Miami. She was a homemaker and retired from Glenberry Manufacturing in Commerce. She attended First Presbyterian Church in Miami.

She married John R. Merriman on March 5, 1976, in Miami. He survives, of the home.

Additional survivors include two sons, Delmer Mack and his wife Donna of Miami and Keith Mack of Missouri; two daughters and their husbands, Colleen and Steve Roesslein of Edmond and Wynona and Gary Hanna of Miami; two stepsons, John P. Merriman and his wife Judy of Neosho, Mo., and Robert Merriman of Wyandotte; two stepdaughters, Mary Shinn and husband Jim of Miami and Sheila Matelska of Crucibel, Pa., 21 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Phyllis Rabel.

Memorial services will be 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Paul Thomas Funeral Home of Miami.
