Edna M. Frogue of Miami died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2008, at Integris Baptist Regional Health Center in Miami after an illness. She was 84.
Mrs. Frogue was born March 14, 1923, in Flat River, Mo., to Bill and Minnie (Curlee) Edwards. She lived in the Miami area all of her life.
She worked at Wal-Mart as manager of the snack bar, retiring in 1995.
Survivors include two granddaughters, Christie Vaughn and her husband Jim and Shelly Hartley, all of Miami; nine great-grandchildren, Tiffany Anderson, Tara Sharp, Amanda Botts, Jessica Hartley, Skyler Vaughn, Mason Hartley, Greg Vaughn, Justin Vaughn and Meagan Vaughn, and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Deborah; her parents; one brother, Luther Edwards, and two sisters, Mayme Reeves and Alma Burk.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at First Christian Church in Miami. Leon Weece will officiate. Burial will be in G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. today at Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami.
