JoAnn Fluke of Miami died Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2008, at her home after an illness. She was 74.
Mrs. Fluke was born June 23, 1933, in Alluwe to Earl and Rebecca (Baker) Stookey. She lived in Miami since 1958, moving from Vinita.
She worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone as an operator. She was a member of Laur Alpha Sigma Sorority, First Church of God in Miami and Church Women United.
She married Oran Fluke on Sept. 1, 1956, in Miami. He survives, of the home.
Additional survivors include one son and his wife, Kent and Ronda Fluke of Dover; two daughters and their husbands, Nancy and Bijan Niavarani of Edmond and Natasha and Jeff Niece of Ingleside, Ill.; one sister, Waunita Fair of Mustang, and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and one brother.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at the First Church of God in Miami. The Rev. Jean McCray will officiate. Burial will be in Nowata Cemetery.
