Norman LeRoy Robbins of Wyandotte died Sunday, Jan. 7, 2007, at Freeman East Hospital in Joplin, Mo., after an illness. He was 60.
Robbins was born April 1, 1946, in Springfield, Mo., to Wilbur and Eula “King” Robbins. He lived in the Wyandotte area for more than 20 years.
He was the head of maintenance for the Wyandotte Tribe in Wyandotte.
He married Julia Marr on Feb. 20, 1974, in Miami. She survives.
Additional survivors include one brother, Mike Robbins of Higley, Ariz.; two sisters, Ada Robbins of Seneca, Mo., and Carol Betts of Hot Springs, Ark., and one stepson, Bobby Martin of Seneca.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Ronald Robbins, and one nephew, Shannon Robbins.
The body has been cremated. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Friday at New Salem Cemetery, east of Seneca.
