Joycelyn Ameline Harrison of Miami died Sunday, Jan. 21, 2007, at Miami Nursing Center. She was 65.
Harrison was born Nov. 1, 1941, in Miami to Clarence Samuel and Ruby (Reece) Wheeler. She lived in the Miami and Commerce area most of her life.
She was a longtime employee of Eagle-Picher, working the the maintenance department, and had worked in home healthcare. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Commerce.
Survivors include two sons, Dillard Harrison Jr. of Kansas City, Kan., and Gregory Harrison and his wife Janelle of Zaneville, Ind.; two daughters and their husbands, Melany Sue and David Buyense and Tina Renee and Greg Renfro, all of Commerce; one brother, Charles Wheeler of Afton; two sisters, Sammi Lou Croff and Patricia A. Holderfield, both of Commerce, 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her stepfather, Gerald Brown.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Seneca Cemetery in Seneca, Mo., with the Rev. Kenneth Linn officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Paul Thomas Funeral Home of Miami.
