Kenneth A. Duffell of Miami died Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2007, at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, Mo., after an illness.
He was 63.
Mr. Duffell was born Dec. 23, 1943, in Locust Grove to Jasper Arch and Elizabeth Amanda (Goff) Duffell. He lived in the Miami area since 1953, moving from Locust Grove.
Mr. Duffell was a member of the Eastside Baptist Church of Miami, where he served as the pastor for more than 11 years.
He was married to Rosalee Green. She preceded him in death in 1993.
He was also preceded in death by two daughters, one son and his parents.
Survivors include one son and his wife, Kenny and Angel Duffel of Miami; one daughter and her husband, Rosanna and Kevin Sheppard of Miami; two brothers and their wives Richard and Barbara Duffell of Miami and James and Martha Duffel of Westville; one sister and her husband, Wanda Lee and Hayes Forbes of Yukon, and six grandchildren.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Eastside Baptist Church with the Rev. Gerald Dyer officiating.
Burial will be in G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami.
Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be deacons and members of Eastside Baptist Church.
Family will receive friends and relatives from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday at Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami.
