Robert P. Pittman Jr. of Miami died Saturday, Feb. 24, 2007, at Integris Baptist Regional Health Center in Miami after an illness. He was 51.
Pittman was born Feb. 11, 1956, in Tulsa to Robert P. and Barbara (Hatfield) Pittman. He lived in Miami since 1966, moving from Tulsa.
He was an operator for Unicorp for 30 years. He was of the Baptist faith and was a member of the Wild Turkey Federation.
He married Rhonda Katrenick on June 13, 1981, in Miami. She survives, of the home.
Additional survivors include two sons and their wives, Dustin and Heather Pittman and Ryan and Tami Pittman, all of Miami; two daughters, Rylee Pittman of Miami and Jamie Cook of Marlow; his mother and stepfather, Barbara and Gene White; one brother, Mike Pittman of Wagoner; one sister, Becky Stover of Miami, and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami with the Rev. Rick Longcrier officiating. Burial will be in G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami.
Pallbearers will be Rodney Stover, Allen Conner, Cody Deloach, Jimmy Henry, Mark Riner and Shawn Culver. Honorary pallbearers will be Dustin Pittman, Ryan Pittman, Jesse McKibben and Larry Groening.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
