Pauline Hancock of Fairland died Thursday, Jan. 25, 2007, at her home after an illness. She was 92.

Hancock was born June 21, 1914, in Chetopa, Kan., to Perry and Pearl (Watson) Ross.

She was a homemaker and became a member of Edna (Kan.) Baptist Church in 1943.

She married Arthur Hancock in 1943 in Coffeyville, Kan. He preceded her in death in August 1982.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include one son and his wife, David and Peggy Small of Fairland; three grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Edna Baptist Church. Burial will be in Lake Creek Cemetery in Bartlett, Kan.

Pallbearers will be Tony Small, Todd Small, Trey Davenport, Ty Davenport, Tim Davenport and Blair Small.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Thomas Funeral Home in Welch.
