Ronnie Lee Salzman of Miami died Saturday, Jan. 13, 2007, at his home. He was 69.

Salzman was born Jan. 28, 1937, in Galena, Kan., to Harold and Jeannette (Moss) Salzman.

He served in the Air Force for one year.

He worked most of his life in the oil fields at several different locations. He also raised livestock and was in the flea market trade.

He was married to Billie Weaver. She preceded him in death.

He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Donna Tandy; one son, Terry Rhodes; his parents, and his stepfather, Gerald Fields,

He married Carol J. Kasper on May 10, 1983, in Perryton, Texas. She survives, of the home.

Additional survivors include five sons, Danny Joe Salzman of Fort Worth, Texas, Ronnie “Skipper” Salzman of Tulsa, Jeff Kohler of Baxter Springs, Kan., James Kohler of Riverton, Kan., and Henry Kohler of Montrose, Colo.; one daughter, Teresa Marony of Neosho, Mo., 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date.
