Warren C. Guest, 71, of Miami, Okla., died Friday, Aug 1, 2008, at Integris Baptist Regional Health Center in Miami after a short illness.
He was born Jan. 8, 1937, in Chester, Pa., to Warren Sr. and Agnes (Baymore) Guest.
He served and retired from the United States Army as a sergeant first class, he was in both Korea and Vietnam, he also served in occupied Germany during his tours.
He married Renata Oriani who preceded him in death.
He was a member of the Commerce Community Church, the Lions Club and the Veterans of Foreign Wars, both of Columbus, Kan.
After the passing of his first wife, he married Berneice Christensen and she survives, of the home.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one infant daughter, Jonette Guest.
Survivors include two sons and their wives, Raymond and Regina Guest of Miami and Sirio and Michele Oriani of Marietta, Ga.; three daughters, Janet Sweet of Joplin, Mo., Gloria Norman of Charleston, S.C., and Betty Skeetoe of Houston, Texas; one brother, Herbert Guest of Commerce; one sister, Florence LaFlora of Miami, Fla.; 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2008, at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, Okla., with the Rev. Robert Rabel officiating. Interment will follow in the Columbus Parks Cemetery in Columbus. The United States Army will provide honors.
