Karl “Kasey” E. Cochran of Commerce died Saturday, March 28, 2009, at Eastwood Manor Nursing Center in Commerce after an illness. He was 81.
Mr. Cochran was born March 23, 1928, in Lawrenceville, Ill., to Grover and Hannah (Blank) Cochran. He lived in Seneca, Mo., for many years before moving to Commerce.
He worked for the Seneca Schools and was a self-employed carpenter.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Joan Ruth Cochran in 1991, and his second wife, Francine B. Cochran in 2008.
He was also preceded in death by one son, two brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include two sons and their wives, Grover and Bertha Cochran of Seneca and David and Rose of Parsons, Kan.; two daughters, Gail Cook and husband Lawrence of Salina and Ann Cochrain of Anderson, Mo., five grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
No services are planned at this time.
