Teresa F. Countryman of Columbus, Kan., died Thursday, July 12, 2007, at Maude Norton-St. Johns Memorial Hospital in Columbus.
She was 44.
Mrs. Countryman was born April 22, 1963, in Columbus to Boyce and Sharon (Robbins) Stanley. She grew up and attended schools around Columbus.
She worked for Southeast Kansas Independent Living in Columbus. She was of the Baptist faith.
She married James Countryman on Nov. 24, 1980, in Miami. They were divorced in June 2006.
Survivors include three daughters, Delia Frances Countryman of Columbus, Jamie Dawn Countryman of Pittsburg, Kan., and Jessica Mae Countryman, of the home; one adopted daughter, Leigh Hinderliter of Pittsburg; three brothers, Lester of Oklahoma City, David of Seneca, Mo., and Raymond Stanley of Quapaw; three sisters, Karla Avicola of Carl Junction, Mo., Sharon Sullivan of Miami and LaTisha Spradling of Quapaw, and one granddaughter, Bianca Morris.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Union Cemetery in rural Galena, Kan., with Ed McFall officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. today at Simpson Funeral home in Columbus.
