Nadine B. Trask-Crockett of Tulsa died Tuesday, June 27, 2007, at the Tulsa Jewish Health Center in Tulsa. She was 93.

Mrs. Crockett was born Nov. 17, 1913, in Steelville, Mo. She was one of nine children born to Julius and Nora Trask.

She taught school at Hickory Grove for four years. She was also employed by B.F. Goodrich in Miami for 10 years.

Additionally, Mrs. Crockett was a 24-year employee of the state welfare department in Ottawa County until her retirement in 1980.

After her retirement she enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed cooking and flower gardening.

She was a member of the Fairland Chapter of the Rebecca's and also a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church in Miami.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Scott Crockett, who died Oct. 5, 1984.

She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Crew of Tulsa and Nancy Gilmore of Olathe, Kan.; one brother, Norvel Trask of Dallas; one sister, Millie Dove of Seattle, Wash.; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday at the Paul Thomas Funeral Chapel in Miami with Pastor Bill Maxey officiating. Interment will follow in the Glenn Abbey Cemetery in Miami.

The family will receive friends at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home chapel.
