Letha L. Rousseau of Miami died Thursday, Feb. 22, 2007, at Integris Baptist Regional Health Center in Miami after an illness. She was 91.
Rousseau was born Oct. 29, 1915, in Columbus, Kan., to Harry and Lena (Tarter) Redd. She lived in Miami all of her life.
She was a bookkeeper for Brown, Stansell and Grissom Distributing Company for 43 years and a homemaker. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Miami, the Business and Professional Women's organization, AARP, the Order of the Eastern Star and the Integris Baptist Regional Health Center Auxiliary.
She married August Rousseau on Jan. 14, 1939. He preceded her in death on July 20, 1993. She was also preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami with the Rev. Kathy Leithner officiating. Burial will be in G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
