Mary Marie Miller of Miami died Monday, Jan. 7, 2008, at Integris Baptist Regional Health Center in Miami. She was 89.
Mrs. Miller was born June 24, 1918, in Centralia to Piney and Mattie (Ellis) Scott. She was a graduate of Centralia schools. She moved to Miami in 1983.
She worked as a cook at Centralia until it's closing, then at Bluejacket Schools until retiring in 1984. She was a member of the First Assembly of God and the Endeavors class. She was active at Pine Place where she lived.
She married Otis Miller on July 11, 1936, in Vinita. He preceded her in death on Jan. 6, 2002. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Janice Fout in 2003; her parents; one sister, Anna Mae McConnell in 2001; six brothers, twin great-grandsons and one great-great-granddaughter.
Survivors include one son and his wife, Billy and Louise Miller of Centralia; one daughter, Inez Friend of Miami; 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; one stepgreat-granddaughter, four great-great-grandchildren and two stepgreat-great-grandchildren.
Services are 2 p.m. today at the First Assembly of God in Miami. The Rev. Raymond Frizzelle will officiate. Burial will be in Martin Cemetery, near Centralia.
Pallbearers will be Don Howe, Shawn Hows, Tony McMinn, Mickey Miller, Brad Miller, Bryan Fout, Bret Fout and Clint Cantrell. Honorary pallbearers will be the First Assembly of God Endeavors class.
Services are under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita.
