Beulah Alma Leslie of Miami died Sunday, March 23, 2008, at Osborne Care and Rehab Center in Miami after an illness. She was 90.
Mrs. Leslie was born Dec. 7, 1917, in Afton to Henry and Jessie (Turner) Oakley. She lived in Miami since 1970, moving from Tucson, Ariz.
She was a homemaker and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Miami.
She married Claude Leslie on Aug. 17, 1951, in Bentonville, Ark. He preceded her in death on Oct. 24, 1976. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include two brothers, Delmar Oakley of Dallas, Texas, and Delbert Oakley of Parkville, Mo.; one sister, Eula Tindell of Miami, five nephews and three nieces.
Services will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami. The Rev. Jerry VonMoss will officiate. Burial will be in G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami.
