Shirley Fay Lyle of Miami died Jan. 24, 2008, at Integris Baptist Regional Health Center in Miami after an illness. She was 82.

Mrs. Lyle was born May 4, 1935, in Douthit to Charles Mallory Floyd and Zora Marie (Woods) Wyatt. She had lived most of her life in Montana, moving to Oklahoma in 1998. She was a homemaker and attended Wayside Assembly of God Church northeast of Wyandotte.

She married Jim B. Lyle in 1986 in Coeur D Alene, Idaho. He survives, of the home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, two brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include a son, Michael Norman and his wife Pam of Troy, Mont.; four stepdaughters, Teresa Johnson and her husband Rod of Troy, Mont., Becky Lilly of Ellensburg, Wash., Brenda Orr of Troy, Mont., and Shana Lyle of Arma, Kan.,; four brothers, five sisters, 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami with the Rev. Don Williams officiating. Pallbearers will be Lee Lyle, Curtis Wyatt, Jimmie Wyatt Jr., Rick Wyatt, Rocky Murphy and Bob Phillips. Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons. Interment will follow in G.A.R Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
