Rudella Turner died Wednesday, March 26, 2008, at the Golden Living Center in Anderson, Mo. She was 76.

Mrs. Turner was born Oct. 3, 1931, in Council Hollow, Wyandotte, to Sterling Benjamin and Ethel Pearl (Roberts) Van Kirk. She formerly lived in Fairland and Miami, and moved to Goodman, Mo., in January, 2001, to be closer to her family. She was a homemaker and of the Assembly of God faith.

She married Loyd W. Turner on May 23, 1950, in Miami.

Survivors include one daughter and her husband, Kelley and Jackie Sharp of Stella, Mo.; one son and his wife, Jimmy and Wendi Turner of Guthrie; two sisters, Monna Rae Connell and Earlene Craft, both of Seneca, Mo.; one brother and his wife, Jack and Ann Van Kirk of Stigler; five grandchildren and their spouses, Jason and Shelly Turner of Goodman, Morgan and Joshua Holloway of Neosho, Heather Sharp of Seneca, Cody Garcia of Anderson and Ashleigh and Frank Roddy of Cullison, Kan., and seven great-grandchildren, Taylor and Damon Turner of Goodman, McKenzie, Austin and Pyper Holloway of Neosho and Brooklyn Winters and Madsion Roddy of Cullison.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Grady Van Kirk, and one sister, Sherley Rantz.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home in Seneca. Russel Thomas will officiate. Burial will be in the Council House Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
