The Park of Lights will be open this year Nov. 22 to Dec.30 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Twin Bridges State Park on Highway 137.

30,000 people attended the event last year. The event's organizers are currently looking for businesses and individuals to participate by putting up a display and signing-up on Oct. 25 at 6 p.m. at Shelter Number 3 at the park.

Santa will visit from the North Pole on Saturday, Dec. 15 and Dec.22 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Free hot dogs and drink will be offered and children may get their picture taken. Donations will be accepted for the pictures.

There will be a new route to follow through the park this year. Those attending should drive straight ahead when turning in the park. Other additions will include more light displays, new volunteer houses at the entrance and exit, a tunnel of lights and a new house for Santa. A mailbox will be available this year for children's letters to Santa. If children will include an address they just might hear form the Jolly Ol' Fella!
