Six students were injured Thursday when a Colcord school bus collided with an SUV on Highway 412.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the bus was southbound on a county road attempting to cross Highway 412, when the bus driver failed to yield from a stop sign and pulled into the path of an eastbound 2003 Ford Explorer.

The bus driver, 71-year-old Billy Earp, was transported to Siloam Springs (Ark.) Hospital, where he was treated and released.

Also transported to the hospital were six students on the bus: Joshua Crittenden, 9, Samantha Crittenden, 11, Sidney Seyersdahl, 9, Shaley Seyersdahl, 10, Ronda Lyerly, 18, and Jennifer Martin, 9, all of Colcord.
