Coy Dean Morrow passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2020 in Joplin, Missouri. Coy was born in Hollis, Oklahoma to Frank and Josephine Morrow. Graduate of Hollis High School- Vice President of Class of 1961; Graduate of Oklahoma State University; Graduate of Oklahoma Law School, and joined the Law Firm of Wallace and Owens in Miami, Oklahoma, Now Morrow, Watson, and James.
At 17 years joined a wheat harvest crew traveling from Texas to North Dakota, Clerk at REC in Hollis during High School; Bursars Office/ Law Library at the University of Oklahoma. Coy was also a Bulldozer Operator on Will Rogers Airport Runway Crew in Oklahoma City during summer break, reporter at Miami News Record where he fell in love with Miami where he returned and practiced law for 50 years.
Mr. Morrow met (Blind Date) and married Glenda Highland. They celebrated 49 years anniversary November 14th, 2020. Coy Specialized in litigation and argued several cases before the Oklahoma Supreme Court.
With Superintendant Charley Head Coy initiated the formation of the Miami Education Enrichment Organization. Coy was a member of the First United Methodist Church, BIL, American, Oklahoma and Ottawa County Bar Associations.
He contracted Polio as a 5 year old and in recovery discovered a great love for books.
He was blessed with two wonderful children, Polly Jenean (John) Rohlf of EL Cajon, California; Brennan Dean (Sara) Morrow of Chicago, Illinois; Two perfect granddaughters, Eila Maria and Cora Grace Rohlf, and a grand dog Ruckus Morrow.
Other survivors include Jeff (Pam) Highland, Kelly (Justin) McKellar, Susan Wright and Jimmie (Kellie) Wright, John (Lisa) Morrow, Maria (Marty) Alberson, Nancy (Doug) Adkenson, David and Jana Wright, Aubree Highland, Julie Highland, Anna McKellar and Isabelle McKellar.
He was predeceased by his parents, one brother Bill Wright and an infant daughter Keira Caitlin Morrow.
He is survived by a brother, Troy (Catherine) Morrow of Sun Lakes, Arizona, John and Barbra Highland- Brother and Sister In-Law of Miami, Oklahoma, and Joyce Wright- Sister In-Law of Hollis, Oklahoma.

And his loving companion Hershey.

Services for Coy will be at a later date. Services are under the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami.
