Pamela Lyn Wilks, a native of Afton, Oklahoma and formerly of Bentonville, Arkansas, passed away February 9, 2020 at the Inola Care Center, Inola, Oklahoma, following the end stages of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
Pam was born May 10, 1963 and attended Afton Public Schools. Upon graduation, Pam attended NEO A&M, St. Gregory’s University, Shawnee, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, Oklahoma and Pittsburg State University, Pittsburg, Kansas and received a paralegal certification. She spent her life loving on people and making everyone she met feel as if they had known each other forever.
Pam lived in Bentonville, Arkansas and worked for Headquarters, Wal-Mart Stores, Inc in Bentonville and J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. in Lowell, Arkansas before her diagnosis. She is survived by three children, Adam Chaswell Smith, Caitlyn Christine Smith and Cameron Andrew Smith, of the Dallas, Texas area, her mother, Rose Roberts of Mesquite, NV and brother, Eric Wilks and wife Stacey of Edmond, Oklahoma, a special friend, Jason Barrowman of Rogers, Arkansas along with numerous aunts, cousins and friends.
