MIAMI — Officials at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College (NEO) have named Michael Allgood as Interim Vice President for Fiscal Affairs following the appointment of Dr. Mark Rasor to Interim President.
Allgood has served as the Assistant Vice President for Fiscal Affairs/Controller for the past six years.
“Michael has been a valuable asset in the business office for over five years,” said Rasor. “We have worked closely together to manage the day-to-day business operations of the College as well as the various internal and external audits we face each year. His expertise in Banner is invaluable to the college. I have complete confidence in Michael’s ability to serve as Vice President for Fiscal Affairs during this interim.”
Allgood earned his Masters of Business Administration in Accounting from Pittsburg State University in 2007.
During his tenure, he and Rasor have worked to convert accounts receivable activity to Banner, NEO’s enterprise resource planning system.
“In a climate of ever-changing state support, I will do everything I can to maintain healthy cash reserves while keeping the best interest of the faculty, staff, and students in mind,” said Allgood. “In terms of projects, I would like to continue our process of renovating older traditional dorms as funds allow.”
Allgood and his wife Nakilah have one daughter, Alivia. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf.
