The Avedis Foundation has announced new dates for two events that were postponed due to inclement weather during last month’s 2019 Health Week.
Krazy Kids Day, a full day of fun and healthy activities for kids of all ages, has been rescheduled to take place Friday, June 14 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Boy Scout Park (1500 E. Main Street). Krazy Kids Day will feature games and other healthy activities, along with fun on inflatables and the Splash Pad.
Kickball at The Y, a free, double-elimination kickball tournament, has been rescheduled to take place at 9 am Saturday, June 15 at the YMCA Lions Club ball fields (located next to the YMCA, 700 W. Saratoga). Participants must be at least 16 years old to enter; teams consist of up to 14 co-ed players. To register a team, organizers should contact the YMCA at firstname.lastname@example.org or call the sports department at the YMCA at (405) 273-4386.
The Kickball at The Y event will also feature live music and a bounce house for kids.
Both Krazy Kids Day and Kickball at The Y are family-friendly events, offered free of charge as part of Avedis Foundation’s 2019 Health Week.
