Henry Lee Frellick of Afton, Oklahoma passed from this life Thursday, May 23, 2019 at Monroe Manor in Jay, Oklahoma. He was 87.
Henry was born October 19, 1931 in Fairland, Oklahoma to Rufus and Eliza (Todd) Frellick. Henry had lived in the Afton area all his life. He graduated from Afton High School class of 1949 and received his Associates Degree from N.E.O. A&M College in Miami, Oklahoma. He worked for B.F. Goodrich in Miami, Oklahoma for 31 years. Henry was a member of U.R.W. Local 318 and was Union President for nine years. He was a farmer and rancher for many years and an avid bee keeper. Henry was a founding member and Deacon of Trinity Southern Baptist Church in Afton, Oklahoma.
Henry married Pearl (Palmer) Frellick May 26, 1951 and she preceded him in death June 20, 2017. He was also preceded by his parents and a brother Pat Frellick.
Survivors include two sons, Tommy Frellick of Afton, OK and Larry Frellick of Catoosa, Oklahoma, two daughters, Debbie Groseclose and husband Gordon of Seattle, Washington and Kathy Biggs and husband Hal of Claremore, Oklahoma, four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, May 26, 2019 at Trinity Southern Baptist Church in Afton, Oklahoma. Rev. Brian Gibson and Rev. Windell Brown will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday, May 25, 2019 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Family Life Center at Trinity Southern Baptist Church in Afton. Interment will be Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at 1 p.m. at Mount Hope Cemetery in Afton, Oklahoma. Greg Leonard, Arthur Morgan, Phil Oakley, Charlie Gibson, Larry Duff, Scott Shouse and Daniel Boyd will serve as pallbearers.
