Betty Jean “Tridle” Reynolds, age 83 of Baxter Springs, Kansas (previously Miami, Oklahoma) passed away on Easter Sunday, April 21st. Betty was born in West Mineral Kansas on May 2, 1935 to Margaret and Cecil Tridle.  She was preceded in death by her father, Cecil Tridle when Betty was 7 months old. Margaret married Pete Herring in 1947, he was the best father Betty could have had. Betty married Billy Joe Reynolds Jan 27, 1957 in West Mineral, Kansas and moved to Miami in the early 60’s. 

Betty was a homemaker until 1976 when McDonalds came to Miami. She worked there (over 30 years) until she left to take care of her elderly mother.  She worked with many young adults and helped shape their future work ethics. She perfected her “sixth” intuition, with the help of her co-workers at McDonalds, finding out where all of the extra-curricular activities in town were.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Cecil Tridle, Margaret & Pete Herring and her husband Billy Joe Reynolds.

Survivors include her daughter Susan Craig of Oklahoma City and granddaughter Courtney Feuerborn and husband Ethan of Moore, Oklahoma

Memorial Service will be held May 11, 2019, 1 p.m. at Legacy Living, 445 E. 10th St., Baxter Springs, Kansas. Betty has been entrusted to Derfelt’s Baxter Chapel for cremation.
