Harold G. Jones Sr. born November 13, 1932 in Weeleka, Okla. to Clem C. and Pauline (Keener) Jones; passed from this earthly home to his heavenly home Sunday, January 20, 2019; he was 86. He was preceded in death by his mother Pauline, father Clem, and a stepmom Agnes (Freeman) Jones, five infant siblings, his sisters Louise Adams, Josie (Bobbie) Wiedeman, Gertrude Lankford, Patsy Brodrick, and a son Donnie Jones.

Harold attended high school in Wetumpka, Okla. He later moved to Wyandotte, Okla. where he met the love of his life, Barbara A (Monohan) Jones. They married on August 16, 1952, celebrating 66 years together last August. He proudly served in the US Army at Fort Hood, Texas from 1952-1955. After which they moved back to Wyandotte, then moving to Miami where he lived the rest of his life.

Harold worked for BF Goodrich for 31 years, until the plant closed in 1986. Hi sons Gene and Donnie worked with him as well, they all walked together when the plant closed. He was active in the local Elks Lodge, serving as Exalted Ruler three different times, as well as serving at the state level as District Director.

Harold surrendered his life to the Lord Jesus in 2006 and became a member of Eastside Assembly of God. Harold loved life and enjoyed getting together with family and friends. He also was an avid sports fan, coaching his son in Pop Warner football, as well as youth baseball. He enjoyed watching his kids participate on any sports team, never missing a game; he even followed the grandkids games and events when ever possible.

Harold is survived by his wife of the home Barbara, son Gene Jones and wife Debbie of Miami, daughter Rhonda and husband Bob Crafton of Ozark, Mo. and daughter Sheryl and Charlie Currey of Grove, Okla. He also has ten grandkids, 14 great grandkids and three great great grandkids. As well as, a host of extended family, and close friends. He will be greatly missed by his loved ones.
