Welcome Fall at the Fairland Farmers Market this Saturday with a great discount for participants in the Juvenile Diabetes Fundraiser Walk and ONIE sharing delicious pumpkin dips.
This Saturday is the first day of fall and the Fairland Farmers Market says, Happy Autumn!! We have lots of pumpkins for sale, and we're encouraging you to eat your pumpkin too!
ONIE Project (Oklahoma Nutrition Information & Education) will be tabling with free pumpkin dip samples, all delicious, with varying amounts of sugar. This ties into our other partner for the day: Fairland's Juvenile Diabetes Fundraiser Walk. All participants in this short walk will get a $5 off coupon to spend at the Market. We still have loads of summer vegetables, honey, and meat for you from local gardens and farms. Eggs are back too!
The Fairland Farmers Market is open from 8 to 11 a.m. every Saturday through the growing season, located near the Family Dollar parking lot (~50 N. Pine St.) in Fairland. The Market accepts Senior Farmers Market benefits, Debit and Credit cards, SNAP benefits, and can even double SNAP for up to $20 in free fruits and vegetables. For more info about the Market contact firstname.lastname@example.org or 918-676-1040.
