Nannette “Nan” M. Bowman, 76, of Miami, Okla. passed away on Sunday, April 29, 2018. She was born on March 5, 1942 in Norfolk, Va. to Joseph Herman and Laurie Maude (Reynolds) Rachal. Nan Married Clark Bowman on May 2, 1959. She and Clark were members of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Miami. They were also owners of U.S. Whip for twenty-nine years. Nan was a member of PEO Chapter FO, 20th Century, Sacred Heart Alter Society and Letters and Arts. Mrs. Bowman was preceded in passing by her parents Joseph and Laurie and one son Kevin Bowman who passed in 1982.
Survivors include her husband Clark Bowman of the home, her children Kay Devin and her husband Randy and Pamela Hayes and her husband Brett both of Miami, her brothers and sisters, Jannette Prober of Moore, Okla., Annie Laurie Anderson of Piedmont, Okla., Joe Rachal of California and Duane Rachal of Tulsa, her grandchildren Dustin Bowman, Allison Hayes, Trevor Hayes and Ryan Hayes along with her great grandchildren Gracie Bowman, Annabelle Bowman, Riley Bowman and Paisley Bowman.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 1, 2018 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Miami with Father Carl Kerkemeyer officiating.
There will be a Visitation on Thursday, May 3, 2018 from 1 until 3 p.m. at Sunny Lane Funeral Home in Del City, Okla.
Graveside services will be 3 p.m. on Thursday at Sunny Lane Cemetery in Del City under the direction of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami.
The family has asked that memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association.
