Dale Frank Wilson, 88-year-old, well known Bluejacket resident, went to be with his Lord on Monday, April 9, 2018 at his home, surrounded by his family. Dale was born November 17, 1929 in Miami, Okla., to Frank and Gladys Wilson and grew up in Dotyville with his brothers Robert and David and sister Margaret. Dale graduated from Miami High School. After serving as a Marine, he returned to Miami and married Patsy Darlene Beall. They had two sons, Steven and Ben, and lived first in Fairland and then Bluejacket. Dale worked at Goodrich, but the job that he loved was working on their farm and raising his family. Nothing made him happier than spending time with his family which grew to include eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Dale died on April 9, 2018. He is loved beyond measure.
The surviving family includes: his wife Patsy of the home; son’s Steve Wilson and wife Mary Jo of Loco, Okla., Ben Wilson and wife Cindy of Vinita; a brother, David Claude Wilson of Fla.; grandchildren, Sarah Rucker, Tucker Wilson, Ben Wilson, Adam Wilson, Ethan Wilson, Ian Wilson, Matthew Wilson and Rachel Wilson; great-grandchildren, Isabella Rucker, Liam Wilson, Abigail Wilson, Max Wilson, Adele Wilson, Kinley Wilson, and Alex Wilson.
The celebration of life service will be held, on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at 2 p.m. at the Bluejacket Assembly God Church, with Pastor Leonard Stoner officiating. Online condolences may be made at www.highsmithfh.com. Arrangements are by the Burckhalter-Highsmith Funeral Home of Vinita.
