Dorothy Leona Davis passed from this life Monday, January 29, 2018 at Broken Arrow Nursing Home in Broken Arrow, Okla. She was 98.

Dorothy was born October 12, 1919 in Afton, Okla. to Henry T. and Lelia Bentley (Smith) Myers. She had lived in Miami since 1942 moving from Afton and had lived in Broken Arrow the past five years. She worked for three of her brothers who owned and operated B &M Motor Co. in Miami, Okla. as their bookkeeper for 43 years, and then for two years she worked for Mark Russell and she retired December 31, 1999.  She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Miami, Okla. since 1942.   

She married Floyd F. Davis Sr. of Bluejacket, OK February 15, 1942 and he preceded her in death on December 11, 1983. She was also preceded by her parents and six brothers Orville J. Myers, Ralph C. Myers, E. Scott Myers, Henry T. Myers, George W. Myers and Albert B. Myers.

Dorothy is survived by one son Floyd F. Davis, Jr. and wife Phyllis of Broken Arrow, OK, two grandchildren Angela Dawn Davis Rhodes and husband Kyle of Broken Arrow, OK and Eric Todd Davis and wife Vallerie of Tulsa, OK, 5 great grandchildren Chelsea Mahan and husband Austin, Dustin Rhodes, Madison Davis, Mason Davis and Tyson Davis and one great great grandson Donny Mahan. 

Funeral Services will be Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 2 p.m. at the First Assembly of God Church in Miami, Okla. Rev. Clyde Miller and Rev. Raymond Frizzelle will officiate.  Interment will be in G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami, Okla. Pallbearers will be Tom Myers, Kenneth Myers, Russell Orcutt, Robin Orcutt, Jim Paxson and Kenneth Pendley. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami, Okla. from 7 to 8:30 p.m.  Services have been placed in the care of the Paul Thomas Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami, Okla.
