MIAMI – Directors for the Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College (NEO) Theatre Experience are hosting auditions for Crime and Punishment on Tuesday, Jan. 23 at 6 p.m. in the Commons Hall Auditorium. 'Crime and Punishment' is a stage adaption of Fyodor Dostoevsky’s classic novel of the same name, it has been adapted by Marilyn Campbell and Curt Columbus, and will be directed by Phillip Shamblin and Aaron Smith. The story is an exploration of the nature of evil as the murderer Raskolnikov relives the thoughts and ideas that drove him to his crime.

'Crime and Punishment' has received critical praise and the New York Times has said: “Who would have thought that the novel no high school student has ever finished reading would make such engrossing theater?"

Performances will run from March 8-11 and the play calls for between 3-7 actors.
