Graveside services for Carol Ann (Robinson) Mathews, 65, of Lone Grove are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2017 at Newport Cemetery with Reverend Royce McClendon officiating. Carol was born Feb. 21, 1951 to Leonard (Red) Robinson and Imagene (Christian) Robinson in Ardmore. She passed from this life on Feb. 4, 2017 in Ardmore after a brief illness.

Carol was raised in Lone Grove and attended Lone Grove School. She worked as a caregiver at area nursing homes and home health services
until she retired when the time came to become the primary caregiver for her parents. She married Tommy Mathews on Dec. 21, 2009. 

Carol loved nature and was always helping her dad on the farm doing whatever needed to be done from fixing fence, working on tractors and even working the cattle. She had a deep love for animals of any kind and had a very special way with them. She cherished her family and always looked forward to the time she was able to spend with them. 

Carol is survived by her spouse of the home, her parents of Lone Grove, one son, Rodney Green, of Overbrook, four granddaughters, Laura Welch and husband, Jake, of Lone Grove, Anyssa
Howard and husband, Josh, of Atlanta, Texas, Miranda Garner and husband, Josh, of Dickson and Tamara Green of Dickson, four great-grandchildren, three brothers Steve and wife, Susie, Kenneth and wife, Lori, Kevin and wife, Angie, all of Lone Grove, seven nieces and nephews and seven great
nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons and nephews. 

A time of visitation for family and friends will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2017 at Craddock Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at
