MIAMI – Catoosa coasted to a 54-17 victory over the Will Rogers Middle School wrestling team here Thursday night.


The Wardogs' points in the match came on a pin by Jaydale Whitlock, decision by Noah Crowder and pins by Billy Reeves and Keedin Crockett.


Phillip Ratliff also picked up a forfeit win for Will Rogers at 89 pounds.


Whitlock pinned Jalen Snow at the 45-second mark in the first period of their 106-pound match.


Crowder rallied from a 4-2 deficit heading into the third period to claim a 12-7 decision over Kia Faulkner at 113. Crowder had five takedowns in the final period.


Reeves rolled up a 16-4 lead over Riley Treat before finally getting the fall at 4:09 of the third.


Crockett jumped out to a 5-0 lead over Dylan Velazquez before getting a pin at 1:06 in the first period.


Catoosa's points came on a forfeit and eight pins.


John Sayles, Matt Horn, Trey Cunningham, Kyle Hawkins, Preston Payton, Cole Botts, Talon Farrier and Cole Gaines all suffered losses by fall.
