Polly passed away at 9 a.m. March 26, 2008, at the age of 69.
She was born Nov. 6, 1938.
The youngest of seven siblings, she is survived by her husband, Allen, of the home for more than 50 years.
Polly was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother.
Proud of her Indian heritage, she was a member of the Shawnee Tribe.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Dale Boyd of Fairland, Okla.; two granddaughters and their husbands, Kimberly and Nathan Anderson of Fairland, Okla., and Kayla and T.J. Thulin of Miami, Okla., and two great-grandchildren, Jayden and Averi Anderson of Fairland, Okla.
She was preceded in death by one son, Allen Louis McFarland; her parents, one sister and four brothers.
She is also survived by one brother, Berry “Boze” Lewis of Narcissa, Okla.; a host of cousins, nephews and nieces and friends.
Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami, Okla. Pastor Andy Krebs will officiate the service.
Visitation will be Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home of Miami, Okla.
Pallbearers will be Donnie and Mark Roblyer, Ricky and Robert Barger, nephews Polly's Joe Jones and Leon Sly.
Interment will be in G.A.R. Cemetery after the services.
