WYANDOTTE - Commerce Middle School improved to 5-0 on the season with a 38-14 victory over Wyandotte here Monday night.

The Tigers jumped out to an 8-0 lead in the first quarter on a 12-yard run by Parker Morgan and the ensuing conversion pass from Kyler Ng to Blake Wilson.

Wyandotte tied the game moments later at 8-8 with an 80-yard TD run and the conversion.

Commerce went back on top in the second quarter thanks to a 3-yard run by D.C. Chance and Ng's conversion pass to Wilson.

Once again, the Bears countered, this time with a 28-yard TD run. However, the conversion failed, leaving Commerce with 16-14 advantage.

Wilson and Ng combined on a 66-yard touchdown play just before the half. BeBe Nino caught a pass from Ng for the conversion to create a 24-14 score.

CMS scored twice in the fourth quarter Morgan had an 11-yard run, then Tyson Howard returned a fumble 44 yards for a touchdown. Jerrod Kirtley caught a pass following Howard's TD to create the final margin.

Commerce hosts Foyil while Wyandotte travels to Fairland Monday night.
