ST. LOUIS, Mo. Washington University in St. Louis had five student-athletes earn University Athletic Association (UAA) athlete of the week honors, as announced Tuesday by the Association.

Junior pitcher Stephen Bonser, Washington, D.C. (Sandy Spring Friends) and senior outfielder Brandon Rogalski, Mount Pleasant, S.C. (Wando) of the baseball team, seniors Erica Jackey, Newark, Del. (Archmere Academy) and Tyler Jackson, Silver Spring, Md. (Richard Montgomery) of the indoor track & field teams and sophomore pitcher/infielder Kelsey Neal, Miami, Okla. (Miami) of the softball team each received the honor.

Neal hit .556 (5-for-9) with one home run and four RBIs as Washington U. posted a 2-1 record last week in Florida.

She tossed a complete-game on the mound and went 2-for-3 with a home run and two runs scored in a 4-1 win over Rensselear Polytechnic Institute on Saturday.

Neal allowed 10 hits and one earned run while striking out five in her third career start. She also went 2-for-3 in a 1-0 loss to John Carroll University on Saturday, and 1-for-3 with three RBIs and a run scored in a 17-0 win over Manhattanville College on Sunday.
