COMMERCE - Commerce will play in the late game Thursday during the first round of the Class 2A state softball tournament.

The Lady Tigers, making their have been paired against No. 1-ranked Ringling in a 6:45 p.m. contest on Field 3 at the ASA Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City.

Other first-round games include Stroud vs. Healdton at noon, Mangum vs. Rush Springs at 1:45 p.m., and Colbert vs. Latta at 3:15 p.m.

The Colbert-Latta winner meets the Stroud-Healdton winner at noon on Friday, followed by the Ringling-Commerce and Mangum-Rush Springs survivors at 2 p.m.

The championship game will be Saturday at 1 p.m.

Commerce beat Wyandotte 5-4 on Mandy Watson's two-run single up the middle in the bottom of the seventh inning of Friday's regional final.

This marks the Lady Tigers' first trip to the state tournament since 2001, when they lost to Preston 1-0 in the semifinals.
