WHITE OAK — Jason Archambo poured in 33 points to lead Bartlesville Wesleyan Christian to an 83-43 romp over Bluejacket’s boys in the finals of the Class B Area III District 2 basketball tournament here Saturday night.

The Crusaders, who dropped two straight in the Northeastern A&M High School Tournament last month, broke out to a 25-9 lead in the first quarter against Bluejacket.

Wesleyan continued to pull away in the second quarter thanks to a 24-3 surge.

Bluejacket held a 17-14 edge in the third period, but the Crusaders got back on track with a 20-14 run over the last eight minutes.

Archambo, a 5-11 junior guard, was joined in double figures by senior guard Adam Fratzke, who had 12 points.

Skylar Humble scored 18 points and David Prine added 10 for the Chieftains.

Bluejacket plays Deer Creek-Lamont at 3 p.m. Thursday in a sub-regional game at Shidler. Deer Creek-Lamont suffered a 38-35 loss to Medford in the District 3 final at Deer Creek.
