QUAPAW — Wyandotte’s girls remained unbeaten in Lucky 7 Conference play thanks to a 45-42 victory over Quapaw here Tuesday night.

"They had three 3-point goals and we got beat by three points — I would like to have taken back one of those 3s," Quapaw coach Rod Graves said.

The Lady Bears (8-4) are 6-0 in league play while Quapaw (8-4) slipped to 6-2 in the Lucky 7.

"They are a hard matchup for some teams with Oleman," Graves said, referring to Wyandotte’s 6-0 senior forward Kayla Oleman, who had a game-high 16 points.

The Lady Bears broke out to an 11-6 lead in the first quarter, but Quapaw narrowed the gap to 17-16 by intermission.

Three treys by Jennifer McCloud helped Wyandotte hold a 17-11 edge in the third quarter.

The Lady Wildcats created the final margin with a 15-11 advantage over the last eight minutes.

McCloud finished with nine points for WHS.

Halie Judd and Caitlin Miller scored 12 each for Quapaw.
