ADAIR - Living up to their No. 1 ranking, Adair rolled to an 8-0 victory over Wyandotte here Tuesday in a high school softball game.

“It should have been 0-0 going into the fifth, but we blew up, Wyandotte coach Troy Gray said.

Adair scored four runs in the third inning then tacked on two runs each in the fourth and fifth frames.

Kristen Enyart, Rebecca Seidner and Amanda Stovall had a single each for the Lady Bears' only hits.

Jesse Stone suffered the loss. She struck out seven and walked two. All eight of Adair's runs were unearned.

“She threw really well, Gray said.

The Lady Bears (2-7) dropped a double-header to Oaks Monday by 4-0 and 6-0 scores.

Salina was supposed to be included, but backed out at the last minute.

Wyandotte travels to Fairland Friday.
