COMMERCE - Scoring all of their runs in the fifth inning, Commerce coasted to a 7-0 victory over Wyandotte in a Lucky 7 Conference softball game here Monday.

The win bumped the Lady Tigers' record to 9-3 while Wyandotte slipped to 3-9.

Wyandotte hosts Kansas, Okla., and Commerce travels to Oklahoma Union for non-conference games today.

The Lady Tigers sent 12 batters to the plate during the seven-run fifth. They got seven of their nine hits in the game.

Mandy Watson had the key blow, a two-run double, her second hit of the inning.

Kourtney Reading also had two singles and a RBI for Commerce.

Johnna Beets picked up the win for the Lady Tigers, striking out seven while allowing only three hits.

The Lady Tigers claimed an 8-0 win over Afton Thursday.

CHS jumped out to a 7-0 lead in the first inning then tacked on another run in the second.

Knight went 3-for-3 with a double while Reading had a pair of singles.

Beets also got credit for the win against the Lady Eagles, fanning four while walking one and scattering two hits.

Jacy Grimes and Ashley Carroll had the only hits for Afton.
